Desert Wind

For I’m spent  by a love that can't be.

His warmth and his coldness by turns crucify me.

The love that consumes me is never meant to be.

And here I stand, worn out, livid, unfulfilled,

For this passion will never be unleashed.

In my mind, only him. Peace is not for me.

So I offer myself to the desert  wind bites... "
